Effective Date: September 9, 2026
FitMyBeauty connects clients with independent beauty professionals. These Provider Standards apply to every professional profile, service listing, image, message, and client interaction associated with the marketplace.
Accurate Professional Information
Providers must submit complete, truthful, and current information. This includes:
- Business or professional name.
- Service area and service location.
- Experience and specialties.
- Availability status.
- Licenses, certifications, or qualifications when applicable.
- Portfolio links and profile photographs.
Providers may not misrepresent their identity, experience, qualifications, business location, availability, or affiliation with another person or business.
Licensing and Legal Compliance
Providers are responsible for understanding and meeting all licensing, registration, sanitation, insurance, tax, and business requirements that apply in the locations where they operate.
FitMyBeauty’s review or publication of a profile does not replace government licensing or confirm that every provider claim has been independently verified.
Service Listings
Every listing must clearly and accurately describe the service offered. Providers must disclose:
- Starting price and foreseeable additional charges.
- Estimated service duration.
- Service location.
- Service area.
- Materials or hair that the client must provide.
- Deposit requirements and deposit amount.
- Cancellation or rescheduling expectations.
- Age restrictions or client groups served.
- Relevant preparation and aftercare requirements.
Providers must update or remove listings that are no longer accurate or available.
Photographs and Portfolio Content
Providers may upload only photographs and other content that they own or have permission to use. Images must accurately represent the provider’s work.
Providers must not:
- Use another professional’s work without permission.
- Use misleading before-and-after images.
- Upload photographs of clients without appropriate consent.
- Publish private, sexual, exploitative, or unlawful content.
- Use heavily altered or AI-generated images to misrepresent actual service results.
Client Communication
Providers must communicate honestly, respectfully, and professionally. Responses should clearly confirm pricing, availability, service requirements, appointment details, deposit terms, and location before the service takes place.
Marketplace messages must not be used for harassment, discrimination, threats, spam, fraud, or unrelated solicitation.
Never request passwords, government identification numbers, banking credentials, or complete payment-card information through FitMyBeauty messages.
Pricing, Deposits, and Payments
Providers are responsible for clearly communicating their prices, deposits, accepted payment methods, cancellation terms, and refund practices.
Until FitMyBeauty formally introduces an integrated payment system, payments and deposits are arranged directly between the provider and client. Providers may not represent off-platform payments as payments processed, guaranteed, or insured by FitMyBeauty.
Safety and Professional Conduct## Safety and Professional Conduct
Providers must maintain clean tools, safe working conditions, and appropriate sanitation practices. Providers should disclose relevant service risks and avoid performing a service when a client’s condition, preparation, age, or circumstances make the service unsafe or inappropriate.
Providers must comply with applicable health, safety, accessibility, and consumer-protection requirements.
Respect and Nondiscrimination
Providers must treat clients fairly and respectfully. Unlawful discrimination, harassment, intimidation, retaliation, or abusive conduct is prohibited.
Service limitations based on genuine training, safety, age, hair condition, service capability, or legal requirements should be stated clearly and applied consistently.
Prohibited Listings and Conduct
FitMyBeauty does not permit:
- Illegal or unlicensed services where a license is required.
- Fraudulent, deceptive, or impersonated profiles.
- Stolen, counterfeit, or misleading content.
- Services involving exploitation, sexual activity, or human trafficking.
- Dangerous services or products that violate applicable law.
- Requests to conceal material pricing, safety, or licensing information.
- Attempts to manipulate reviews or marketplace activity.
- Repeated unsolicited advertising or spam.
Reviews and Client Concerns
Providers may respond professionally to reviews but may not threaten, pressure, bribe, or retaliate against a reviewer. Providers should use the appropriate reporting or support process when they believe content violates FitMyBeauty policies.
Review and Enforcement
FitMyBeauty may review, approve, reject, request changes to, suspend, or remove any provider profile or listing. Serious or repeated violations may result in account restriction or termination.
FitMyBeauty may cooperate with lawful requests from regulators, law enforcement, or other authorized parties when required.
Reporting a Concern
Suspected policy violations, fraudulent profiles, unsafe services, or abusive communication should be reported through the website’s reporting tools or by emailing support@fitmybeauty.com.
